A unique training program for green building professionals....
MCAA and Courtney France of France Sustainable Solutions are partnering to bring you a convenient, and we think extremely effective, approach to training for the Green Building Certification Institute's LEED Green Associate exam.
Many MCAA members know Courtney France, the trainer for this program, from her successful training of well over a thousand of our mechanical industry professionals for the LEED AP exam.
For mechanical, service and plumbing contractors newer to the green environment, students from our student chapters, and other green building professionals, obtaining the Green Associate credential is essential to demonstrate your expertise in sustainable and high performance building design and construction practices.
The training module consists of:
- a comprehensive training DVD taught by Courtney that will explain the important LEED concepts you will need to master for the exam;
- a reference manual for you to study; and
- access to a webinar taught by Courtney to review the materials and help you fine-tune your skills and understanding of the content. Upcoming webinars are scheduled for May 18, June 22, July 21, and August 31.
When you have completed all three elements of this training, you should be as prepared as possible for the green associate exam. You will receive a Certificate of Completion that can serve as your prerequisite when you register for the GBCI's exam. All from the best seat in the house...your own!
